Very nice walk no matter what the weather, unless it is really Peeing it down, we went on a cold but clear October day. There are also more Fishing areas that have now been fenced off, so do take care that your Pooch doesn’t jump in the water at these points!! More Pictures of Fewston. More Info.

There are two car parks one at the south end of the reservoir, where I’ve started as there are toilets and picnic benches (for sunny days!) and one just off the A59. On leaving the car park the way you drove in turn right and head down towards the dam. After crossing the dam as the road turns right, keep left and take the steps or easy access to the left, this will take you around the building at the end of the dam and back to the reservoir.
Its easy from here just mosey along the path until you reach the second car park.
Before you reach the second car park you will catch sight of the old church which overlooks the A59. At the car park keep left and re enter the walk way around Fewston.
This bit of the walk has been renovated to make it more accesable, so is quite a pleasant stroll now.
You will eventually come back to the dam. just before you reach the road the path forks, take the right up through the trees back the the car park, there is usually an ice cream van selling various vittles.
